The September number of Weldon’s Ladies’ .Journal contains free patterns of a new coat and skirt, charming stylish frock, smart shirt-blouse and skirt. In the fashion supplement will be found film fashions, specially modelled styles for the Ihisiness girl, frocks for morning and afternoon wear, frock and cape ensembles, beach and holiday styles for the older woman, delightful lingerie, linen suits, sun-frocks, etc. Instructions for making a tennis coat in tricot, and special fashion articles are among the features of the journal. In the magazine section are short stories by Ursula Bloom and Dana Burnett, novel by Warwick Deeping. completion of a four part story by Christine Jope-Slade, and a special article, ‘‘House to Let,” by the Rev. There are fashions and fabrics, motor ing section conducted by the Earl of Cardigan, book reviews by Arnold Palmer, and other features.
