PIGEON FLYING

CENTRAL CLUB THREE RACES HELD. The Central Pigeon Club has held thre races during the past fortnight, the season being opened on Saturday, August 17, with a race from Levin, followed hist week-end with a race from National Park, and an interval race from Levin. There was a good hamper for all races and although conditions have not been of the best for flying the times registered have been very satisfactory rind with the Inteiest anil enthusiasm displayed by members aud the prospects of an increased number of entries, future racing promises to be very keen.
