SERIOUS ACCIDENT A serious accident befell two members of the Alakowhai relief camp on Thursday morning when they were buried bv a fall of metal from the side iof an eight-foot deep drain in which ■ they were working. Garner is suffering from severe spinal : injuries, am] Jolies a broken knee. SCHOOL AFFAIRS • The school broke up on 1-Viday afternoon and resumes again on September 9 Aliss F. Wade (assistant) will be spending her holidays in Wellington. Mr. N.
