A Geographical Error.
New Zealanders are almost resigned to the inhabitants of other countries regarding the 'Dominion as a province, state, or off-shoot of Australia, and an intimate, knowledge of the geography of this small country is hardly to be expected even among Englishmen and the peoples of other parts of the Empire. Nevertheless it. is a little difficult to understand how the geographical error on an envelope received at the Canterbury Public Library came about. The letter was addressed to “Sister M. K. North, care of Christchurch Library, Auckland, New Zealand.” The letter Iris been re-ad-dres-ed to the Auckland Public Library. «
