THE ALASKA CRASH
FUNERAL OF VICTIMS. LOS ANGELES, Aug. 22. With high officials of the United States army and navy representing President Roosevelt attending, the funeral service of the late Mr. Will Rogers was held in the presence oi 190,000 people, necessitating a detail of 400 police to handle the crowds at Forest Lawn Cemetery. The motion picture industry was at a standstill, and more than 12.000 theatres throughout tho country were darkened for two minutes. Simultaneously vast crowds paid homage to the services of Mr. Wiley Post nt Oklahoma City.
