DAMAGED ENGINE
FAITH IN AUSTRALIA ’PLANE AT DALY WATERS PASSENGERS STRANDED. DARWIN, Aug. 23. The monoplane Faith in Australia, while making the return trip to Adelaide from Darwin after starting the new air-mail service between these two centres, lauded at Daly Waters after the centre engine was badly damaged when a fault developed. The passengers and crew are stranded b.t Daly Waters, which is about 350 miles from Darwin. A relief ’plane has been sent from Adelaide.
