Tho temperatures in London to-day equalled those on July 14, which, hitherto, was the warmest dy of the year. From 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. the reading did not fall below 84 degrees, and at 2 o’clock 85 degrees was recorded, three degrees higher than at the same hour yesterday.
