RIFLE SHOOTING. Bulls and Ohakea Rifle Clubs fired the final matches in the Uliffe-Rcming-ton and Manawatu Association Cups iu the northern section on the Ohakea range on Tuesday night. In the CliffeRemington match both teams, finished up even with a fine total of 1101, and i nthe B grade Ohakea were successful in winning by 18 points. In the A grade match there were five double possibles and three singles registered and one single in the B grade match. The end of the first range saw Bulls with a one point lead but Ohakea team improved three points on the second, while Bulls could only improve by one. For Ohakea double possibles were registered by J. Simpson, K. Bailey and P. Ellery and for Bulls C. Al. Broughton and E. Broughton each scored 140. Singles were registered by only Bulls members—D. Lundy, P. Thorby, R. McKenzie for the A grade and L. Anderson for the B grade. To-night (Friday) the Ohakea and Bulls A teams shoot at Awahuri in the section finals against Levin and Linton.
