COST OF EXPEDITION
TREASURY’S JULY ACCOUNT Received Aug. 22, 7.15 p.m LONDON, Aug. 22. The Daily Telegraph’s Rome correspondent says that the Treasury account for July shows that the expenditure on the East African expedition amounted to £6,250,000. The Budget deficit for July alone was £8,350,000 and the public debt £1,771,000,000.
