RED CROSS EXPEDITION
AN APPEAL IN BRITAIN LONDON, Aug. 2 1. the Daily Chronicle states that Lord Dawson of Penn, the King’s physician, as well as other eminent doctors, arc interested in plans for sending a British Red Cross Expedition to Abyssinia, and an appeal for funds will be launched shortly to enable two units to be sent, comprising 24 doctors, 100 orderlies, ami ambulances and hospital equipment. Dr. Torrance, a n American, who is organising an Abyssinian Red Cross effort, has been assisted by gifts of medical supplies from leading American drug firms.
