STUDENTS’ EVENING
MUSIC TEACHERS’ ASSOCIATION. The Alusic Teachers’ Association held an evening at the Lady Jellicoe Club rooms on Alonday, when the pupils of members gave a programme, the excellence of which proved that there is much talent among the music students training available at the various music of Wanganui and a high standard of studios.
Pupils at varying stages of musical training gave interesting interpretations of works by Beethoven, Chopin, Brahms, Saint Saens, Handel and many modern composers.

Guscutt (Miss Williams), R. and Al. Ratcliff, Al. Robertson (Airs. Abernethy), B. and T. McKie, R. Blakeley (Aliss Barjiot), Al. Kingston, E. Burgess (Aliss Rowe), E. Robertson (Aliss Chipperfield), Al. Bevege (Aliss Whitlock), B. and K. O’Toole, J. Campion (Aliss Richmond), Al. Harrison (Aliss Harden). Violin items: 1. Cade (Aliss Burnet), S. Whitlock (Aliss Hutchens), A. Anderson, C. Juke (Air. Naumann), E. AlcMahon (Aliss Blennerhassett). Vocal items: R. Bond, C. Sherriff (Alme. Spillane), T. Bergey (Airs. Doull). Accompaniments were played by Airs. Abernethy and AlisSes Chipperfield, Whitlock and Blennerhassett. At the conclusion supper was served. Alisses Harden, Chipperfield and Robertson acted as hostesses for the evening. Those present included the members of the society and a large number of visitors.
