OHAKUNE
MAGISTRATE’S COURT. At Lhe monthly sitting of the .Magistrate's Court, Mr. R. Al. Watson, S.M., was the presiding magistrate. Benjamin Webner was lined 10s and costs for obtaining a firearm without the necessary permit. Judgment by default was given for plaintiff in the following cases: E. O. Lightband v. J. Marriner, claim £2 Is 6d and costs; T. Havler v. R. Jackson, claim 18s 3d and costs; G. Sargeant v. A. E. I’ederson, claim £.19 .Ils 6d and costs; J. Clemalt v. T\ J. Curtis, claim £4 3s and costs. W. Hall was ordered to pay T. Leak 10s forthwith, in default three days' warrant tu be suspended until August 7. E. Ryan was ordered to pay A. W. Gould £5 10s 6d forthwith, in default seven days, warrant to be suspended as long as debtor pays 10s per month.
