OHINGAITI W.D.F.U. « CCC ESSF U L 1' UN CTION Ohingaiti was en fete ou Thursday night, the occasion being thy annual oatl of the Ohingaiti branch of tire Women’s Division of the Farmers’ Union. The hall, which was beautifully decorated with baskets of ferns and foliage, ballons and “Neon” lights, was packed to capacity, while the stage aiforded a co-mfoitauJe sittiug-out place lor lookers-on. Uld-time and modern dances had their place ou the programme aud all were popular. The music was supplied by Loveday’s Dance Orchestra, oi x ulinerstoii North. A feature of the dance was the magnificent honie-made supper. Ihe supper tables were gay witu bowls cl seal let japonica. and •’Neon” lights and laden with every possible dainty to tempt the palate.
