OBITUARY
MR. E. J. STOCK A cablegram from Melbourne announces the death at the age of 75 of Mr. .E. J. Stock, general manager and actuary of the National Mutual Life Associaliun of Australia, Limited. In the death of Mi. Stock the National Mutual suffered the severe loss of a leader of great character and inspiring example. His connection with the National Mutual has extended over a period of 60 years. During that long periml Mr. Stmk I ravelled extensively to all parts of the world where the National Mutual liaiisacls iLs business, and he was a frequent visitor to* Nen Zealand. Air. Slock was a citizen of the best type and rendered loyal service lo many social, educational and charitable bodies to which ‘he ciieerfully and willingly gave his valuable advice and assistance.
