ARMOURY BROKEN INTO
AUCKLAND GRAMMAR SCHOOL [ Ter Press Association. 1 AUCKLAND, Aug. 4. The armoury at the Auckland Grammar School in Mountain Road wax broken into last night, only 21 hours after an attempt to break into the main armoury at the Penrose rifle rapge. Until a full check of the rifles issue<l to members of the cadet battalion has been made it will not be known how many rifles have been stolen.
It would appear that a determined attempt is being made to get possession of firearms and ammunition. Whether it is an individual or a gaag that is at work is not known. It i.* believed that last night a motor-c ir wal used by those responsible for forcing their way into the armoury.
