Wilberfoss, Victoria Avenue. Lady Robertson, of Epsom, left Auckland by motor on Thursday for Wanganui. Aliss M. Rutherford, of Alasterton, who has been the guest of Airs. AlcKcnzie, Wanganui East, has returned. ■ Aliss Beryl Godfrey, Halswell Street, was hostess recently at an enjoyable party. Airs. C. E. Roebuck, of New Plymouth, was a visitor to Wanganui yesterday for the provincial Plunket Society conference. Airs. Horner, who has been spending a holiday in AVanganui and Foxton, has returned to New Plymouth. Airs. Harding, of Featherston, is the guest of Airs. Wilford, Wickstecd •Street. Lady Sidey, of Dunedin, was the guest of Dr. and Airs. A. J. Crawford, Ingcstre Street, during her visit to Wanganui for the provincial Plunket Society conference. The Rev. R. Alartin, of Sumner, Christchurch, and formerly of St. David’s Church, Aranioho, has been visiting friends in Wanganui. Airs. E. H. Pope, “Eastweare,” Hunterville, is spending a few days at her home in Palmerston North.

Ur win, secretary of the Stratford branch of the Plunket Society, who is visiting Wanganui for the provincial conference, is the guest of Mrs. Neilson, Young Street, Wanganui East. Mrs. Harry Evans, of Huntervillc, has returned to her home after three weeks’ holiday as the guest of Mrs. C. B. McClure, Feilding. Mrs. H. C. Gregory (Cecily TaborGregory) of Auckland, has been asked to produce “No, No, Nanette” for the New Plymouth Operatic Society. Mrs. Gregory has just completed a similar engagement with the local society. Mrs. Walter Weston and Mrs. F. White, of New Plymouth, and Mrs. T'asters and Mrs Hugo, of Stratford, who visited Wanganui for the Plunket Society provincial conference, were guests at the Rutland Hotel. Miss Molly McDonald, Glasgow Street, who accompanied Mr. and Mrs. H. O. Toogood, of Masterton, on a live weeks’ motoring tour of the South Island, will return to Wanganui to-mor-row. Mrs. Gillies, of Havelock North, will accompany Mr. and Mrs. Toogood to Wanganui.

According to a London correspondent Mrs. H. J. McChesney (Marton) is stayI ing at, Stanmore, Middlesex, with her sister. Presently, with her daughter, I Miss Pat McChesney, she will go to ; Belfast to spend the remainder of their holiday with her mother.
