ECHO OF DUEL CHALLENGE. REPLY TO MR. DICKINSON. I LONDON, July 17. I Captain Fanelli, in declining Mr. Ed-1 jard Dickinson as substitute for Major I ittlee. wrote: ‘‘Your letter confirms ' any conviction regarding English sub jects whom Labour principles have not I made rotten.” Major Attlee was challenged on July 6 by Captain Fanelli, who objected to the Major’s remarks in the House of Commons on the Italo-Abyssinian dis pute. Major Attlee declined and Mr. Dickinson offered to take his place.
