DELIGHTFUL PARTY

The guests were received in the large entrance hall, which was decorated with bowls of beautiful berries by Al is. Amon, who wore a graceful gown of midnight blue georgette, ami Aliss Margerv Aiiion, wno looked very dirut}' in a frock of honey-coloured angclskin lace. The folding doors which separate the drawing and dining rooms were thrown open, making a spacious dancing flour fur th-e forty odd guests. The decorations in these rooms wcic particularly lovely, bowls ol beautiful orange and flame-colon red flowers b» ing everywhere and with huge log fires at either end of the room, it was very bright and inviting. Dancing was indulged in by the younger people, wh : K tile older ones played cards in another c.o>v room, which was pret-ily decorated with delicate pink cameliuami uaiio daphne. At eleven o’clock a most sumptuous supper was served, after which dancing was continued till almost three o'clock, being so thoroughly enjoyed by all that they were almost loth to depart sifter thanking the host and hostess fur so delightful a parly.
