Forecast.—Winds: North-east to north-west prevailing, light Io moderate, but later freshening, especially over the South Island. Seas i New Zealand waters): Smooth to moderate, but later rising somewhat in Cook and Foveaux Straits. Eastern Tasman Sea: Moderate but increasing northerly winds; seas smooth to moderate but rising. Weather: Still for the most part fine and warm to hot, but isolated local showers and thunder probable, with some fog on the coasts.
