SPEEDWAY CRASHES
ACCIDENTS IN SYDNEY Received Feb. 3, 6.30 p.m. SYDNEY, Feb. 3. During speedway racing at the showgrounds last night, a couple of sensational accidents occurred, in one of which the English test captain, Tiger Stevenson, and his team mate, Cliff Parkinson, figured. The pair came dow’n and their machines were flung high in the air Stevenso.x escaped with minor injuries, but Parkinson sustained concussion and abrasions, and bis condition is serious. Harry Lewis was seriously injured in k crash two heats later.
