FARMER FOUND INJURED
ASSISTED BY A MINISTER Per Pr*M AaMciatloa. J HAMILTON, Feb. 2. In the role of ambulance officer, the Hon. C. E. Macmillan (Minister of Agriculture), assisted to carry a brokenlegged farmer three-quarters of a mile near Raglan yesterday afternoon. The Minister was returning in Mr. T. Parker’s car from a visit to Bryant House. He heard cries and found Mr. B. H. Pegler, farmer, Karioi, lying in a paddock helpless, having bevn thrown from his horse some time previously. The Minister and parry carried the man to a. neighbouring farmhouse, and after medical attention he was taken to hospital in Hamilton.
