TRIAL OF HAUPTMANN
REVENUE OFFICER’S EVIDENCE. Received Jan. 22, 8.40 p.m. FLEMINGTON. Jan. 22. The agent of the Federal Internal Revenue Bureau testified that after payment of the ransom Hauptmann, who, since 1932, had been speculating on Wall Street, had transactions frequently amounting to fifty thousand dollars a month.
