REPRESENTATIVE MATCH JUNIORS AND MERCANTILE LFAGLL BEATEN BY 61 KUNS A representative cricket match between a team of players selected from junior elevens competing in the Wan ganui Association •’& competition and a team representing the Mercantile Leagu- was played at Wanganui yesterday. The junior representatives won by 61 runs on the first innings. The best score of the day was made by Cameron for the juniors, his total being 31. JUNIOR MATCHES. MARIST A v. MABIST B. Marisit B batted first and were all out for 80, Rhodes (16), Riddell (16) and Gudby (15) being the only doublefigure scorers. Koorey was right on the spot with the ball and collected seven for 18. Marist A put on 171 for six widkets declared. ,1. Cameron (61), F. White (45), R. McEntee (27) and B. Dow (15) were t‘he main scorers. Tufiin (four for 40) was the most s-uccessful bowler for Marist B. In their second strike Marist B lost four wickets for <B2 runs and saved an out right defeat.
