THE WAIPAWA’S CARGO
SOME OF IT DAMAGED ( Per Press Association ). AUCKLAND, Jan. 21. The total damage done to tho frozen cargo in the No. 2 hold of the Waipawa owing to water overflowing from the bilges into the hold has not yet been ascertained. Some of the cargo is damaged and will have to be discharged. It is expected to complete investigations tomorrow and it is hoped to despatch the vessel south on Wednesday.
