The Sunday Times’ diplomatic coriC'pondcnt says that although the naval conversations have not proceeded without difficulties, substantial progress has been made. Technical points are still engaging attention. PRIVATE NEGOTIATIONS. [ British Official Wireless. I Received Nov. 5. 5.5 p.m. RUGBY, Nuv. 4. The French acid Italian embassies at Loudon have been informed of the course of the recent naval conversations. The first part of the conversations is now over, but they are being followed by a good deal of useful private contact. supplementing meetings which will be held at intervals.
