VALEDICTORY A special meeting of the Waverley Dental Clinic Committee was called on August 30 ill order to farewell Nurse Hvenson, who is leaving the district and also to welcome Nunse Small, who succeeds Nurse Svenson. Present: Mr. Boyne (president), Nurse Svenson, Nurse Small, Mr. M. Christensen (secretary), Messes. Gar. diner, Aiken and Dalrymple. After all business had been discussed, Mr. Boyne spoke of the departure of Miss Sveii- , son, and the regret felt, by children and parents. Nurse Svenson had been very popular with the children and the ■ evidence of her efficient work was visible on all the children she had treated. On behalf of all present, Mr. Boyne . wished Miss Svenson the best of luck in her new district. In replying, Miss ’ Svenson thanked the committee for their co-operation and said that things i had been made easy by their assistance. In welcoming Nurse Small, Mr. Boyne said that she had a great reputation to live up to and that all mem--1 bers of the committee were willing to 3 give any assistance possible. i PERSONAL 1 s Mrs. A. .1. Hamilton returned to her f home in New Plymouth after a short o stay in Waverley, where she attended • the Waverley School Diamond Jubilee.
