Mr. and Mrs. R. Burton are Christchurch visitors to Wanganui. Mr. and Mrs. F. R. Parkes, of Birmingham, England, were visitors to Wanganui for the week-end. * * * * Miss J. Rudall, of Auckland, is visiting Wanganui. Miss Laurensen, Wanganui, has been spending a few days in Inglewood. Mrs. R. Strachan, of Stratford, is at present in Wanganui spending a holidoy with relations. Mrs. Goldsbury, Wanganui, is visiting Mrs. J. W. Boon, at Stratford. * * * »• Mr and Mrs Ronald Anderson, Taihape, who are staying at the Rutland Hotel, are visiting Wanganui for the Hean—Gilbertson wedding. Dr. and Mrs. G. N. Guthrie, Christchurch, were week-end visitors to Wanganui. Mrs. W. E. Broderick and Miss Alsia Broderick, Maxwell, are visiting Mrs. A. M. Winks, at Hawera. Mr. and Mrs. A. McDonald, of Palmerston North, visited Wanganui during the week-end. Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Beauchamp, Glasgow Street, have returned from a holiday spent at Tokaanu. Mrs Anthony Nathan, Taihape, is paying a visit to Wanganui for the Hean—Gilbertson wedding. *** ” # Mrs. Hope Walker, Boydfield Street, Wanganui East, is the guest of her aunt (Mrs. Fred. Johnston), Pine Terrace, Waverley. Miss Betty Bignell, Wangaehu, is at present on a visit to Mrs. E. G. Foden, New Plymouth. Mrs. Ken Duncan, of Hunterville, j visited New Plymouth for the weekend and was the guest of her mother, Mrs. J. Ramson. Included among visiting guests for the Hean—Gilbertson wedding are Mrs St. George, of Otaki, Mrs F. S. Veale, of Cambridge, Mrs R. Strachan, of Stratford, and Miss A. Bain, of Weilington. .Mrs. Athol Wilson returned to Wanganui on Saturday from New Plymouth, accompanied by Mrs. A. L. Humphreys. Mias C. Stanford, Wicksteed Street, left on Friday for New Plymouth, where she is the guest of Mrs.'Phillip Grey. Mrs. Eric Duncan, Hunterville, is spending a short holiday in New Plymouth. • ♦ • • Mrs. J. Smith, of Hobson Street, Wellington, and her daughter, Ruth’, are visiting Wanganui as the guests of Mrs. Wm. Falconer, St. John’s Hill. Mrs. S. G. Millen is visiting Hunterville and Ohingaiti to attend the Women’s Institute meetings and the first birthday party of the former institute.
