WANGANUI EAST CLUB MEMBERS’ ANNUAL MEETING. ELECTION OF OFFTOBRS. Enthusiasm was the keynote of the ■ annual meeting of members of the . Wanganui East Lawn Tennis Club last ! evening, when the president, Mr. E. Walpole, was in the chair. The annual report and balance-sheet disclosed a healthy state of affairs, the social committee having been very active and helping considerably. The election, of officers resulted as follows:—Patron, Mr. F. J. Walker; president, Mr. E. Walpole; vice-presi-dents, Mr. A. Stuart, M.P., Messrs. Russell Grace, G. P. Williamson and C. Willis, Mesdames (Capt.) Bonner and Bates; delegates to Wanganui L.T.A., Messrs. Brooker and Dickson; captain, J. Johnstone; vice-captain, E. Tippins; secretary, Mrs. J. Shanks; treasurer, H. Bain: auditor, Mr. V. Connell; hon. solicitor. Mr. P. Dickson; committee, Mesdames Ross and Alward, Misses Campbell and Wakely, Messrs. Hamilton, Caldwell, Burston, Gilbertson and Stephens.
