RUGBY SELECTOR
SOUTHLAND APPOINTEE. ( Per Press Association). INVERCARGILL, July 2. Owing to tho illness contracted by Mr. W. J. Pearson, one of the South Island and New Zealand Rugby selectors. Air. A. J. Geddes has been requested by the New Zealand Union to deputise for Air. Pearson at the North Island trial at Wanganui on Wednesday and the North—-South match at Auckland on Saturday.
