BRITISH BATTLESHIPS BOMBPROOF STRUCTURE LONDON, Julv 1. Mr Hector Bywater, in the Daily Telegraph, says that Britain’s new battleships, which will bo laid down in 1937. will differ from all fighting ships afloat. They will have guns firing nearly twice as fast as the present lain, ships. The new vessels will be armoured and otherwise protected on a novel plan, and it is claimed they will be able to defy any form of air attack, practically the whole structure being virtually bomb-proof.
