MEXICAN ELECTION
QUIETEST IN HISTORY. Received July 2, 9.15 p.m. MEXICO CITY, July 1. Geenral Lazaro Gardenas was elected the forty-fifth constitutional President of Mexico to-day in an election which reports from the principal cities indicated was the quietest in the history of the countrv.
