NET PROFIT FOR YEAR PROPOSED DISTRIBUTION [ Per Press Association. } WELLINGTON, July 2. Cable advice has been received from London by the general manager of the National Bank of New Zealand, to the effect that the net profit for the year ended March 31 last, after making provision for bad and doubtful debts, and transferring £40,000 to the exchange and account, amounted to £95,674, which with £114,742 brought forward from the previous year leaves available for distribution £210,416. It is proposed to allocate as follows: In payment of dividend at the rate of 4 per cent, per annum free of tax, £BO,000: to pension fund and gratuity , funds £14.000; to premises account £lO.OOO. Balance carried forward £106,416, Total £210,416.
