OBITUARY
MR. JAMES W. BLAIR ( Per Press Association ). DUNEDIN, June 30. Tho death has occurred of Mr. James Waddell Blair, of Abbotsford Farm, Outran), aged 61 years. He was widely known as a breeder and judge of stock, and highly esteemed in the farming community of Otago and the Dominion generally. For many years he was a noted Clydesdale breeder, and his fame as u dockmaster had spread to Australia, where his stud Border Leicesters enjoyed a ready sale and a high reputation for quality and character. He was a member of the Taieri A .and P. Society, Otago A. and P. Society, Clydesdale Horse Society, the Farmers’ Union, and also served for many years on the Taieri County Council, of which he was chairman for two years. He is survived by a widow, two sone and two daughters.
