ARAMOHO BRANCH. There was a very good attendance at the meeting held in St. David’s Church on Thursday afternoon. The president was in the chair and devotions taken by Mrs. Chesswas. Minutes of previous meetings read and confirmed. Apologies were received from Mesdames White, Hamer and Wheatley. Correspondence read and received. One from Mrs. Graham, N.S. Wales, to be dealt with at a later date. A letter of sympathy is to be sent to Mrs. Spicer. Mrs. Gilmour reported a very successful visit having been paid to the Jubilee Home Mesdames Hallam, Irwin and Walker then gave, in the form of a dialogue the White Ribbon paper. Mrs. Irwin urged all to do their utmost to get new subscribers for our own paper. A demonstration on pine needle work was given by Mrs. Rush, which was very much appreciated. A hearty vote of thanks to both Mrs. Irwin and Mrs. Rush was carried by acclamation. The secretary was instructed to get material for a cloth to be autographed to help the funds. Resuit of competitions Mrs. Nicholson 1, M. Read 2. Meeting closed with hymn and Benediction, | ifter which afternoon tea was served.
