GERMAN SCIENTIST
PROCEEDING TO AUCKLAND. [ Per Pre-is Association. ] WELLINGTON, June 29. Notable among the passengers who arrived by the lonic to-day is Dr. Kurt Kreichsheiiner, scientist, from Germany, who will be engaged in important research work at Auckland University College for at least the next twelve mouths, mainly iu connection with a phenomenon with radio activity. His expenses are being borne by the Academic Assistance Council Organisation, whose headquarters are in London, and which was created for the purpose of helping scientists and others for whom the present regime in Germany has made tilings difficult.
