Hill (Auckland).' At the annual meeting of members of the Parliamentary Press Gallery yesterday, Mr. C. Campbell (Southland Times), and Mr. H. I. Forde (Evening Post) were elected chairman and vicechairman respectively. Mr. W. Grant, chief Government grader at the port of Patca for the past seven years, has received notice of transfer to Christchurch, from where he will operate as senior inspector of all southern ports. He leaves for Christchurch early next month. Mr. T. Tolly, a member of the Patea Post Ofiice staff, formerly of the Patca grading staff, has i«4cw'.ed notice of transfer to Ohau. He will leave Patea next Wednesday. Mr. L. Moss, of Ohau, has been transferred to Patea and will fill the position vacated by Mr, Tohy, who is well known in tennis circles at Patea.
