This evening “The Working Mau.” with George Arliss in the leading role, will be screened again at Bulls Town Hall, and good supporting pictures complete a very fine programme. The Badmington Club held a successful opening on Thursday evening, there being a good attendance, and the greatest enthusiasm being shown. Next week two exper* ’flayers from Feilding will come nere to exp 1 am to new members the finer points of the game, and no doubt games will be played with outside clubs when meiuuers become proficient. Owing to a representative match, being played to-day at Taihape there ,vill be no senior Rugby fixture at Bulls, but Bulls thirds are engug?.! at Hunrcrville, and Flock House will travel to Marton to meet Athletic. The first qualifying round ior the Rangitikei golf championship will be played this afternoon. The draw has already appeared in these columns. Across the river sports fixtures will bo as follows to-day:—Ohakea Rugby juniors v. Sanson, at. Ohakea; ami Ohakea Ladies’ Hockey Club v. Carnarvon at Carnarvon.
