TRAGEDY IN QUARRY
TWO MEN KILLED. THIRD SERIOUSLY INJURED. Received June 27. 10.5 p.m. MELBOURNE, June 27. Buried under a hundred tons of eart and stones when a quarry wall col lapsed to-day near Warrandyte. tw men were killed and one seriously ir jured. The victims were: Walter Blacl aged 50, and William Shea, 30, bot killed. Leonard Carrick, 28, fracture ribs and collarbone. The latter, a though, buried to the neck, was able t direct the rescuers to where he believci his mates would be found. A stationary motor-truck wa wrecked by the weight of debris whic fell. ‘
