Huwyler, in a neat and sincere speech, made mention of the many good qualities of Mr. and Airs. Slade; of Mrs. Slade’s untiring efforts, and often thankless work, for the good of the tennis club, of which he was an able secretary. Mrs. Slade’s work for the club has also been much appreciated.
