FEWER UNEMPLOYED MOST INDUSTRIES IMPROVING [ British Official Wireless. J RUGBY, May 7. Another large increase in the numbci of workpeople employed is shown bj the Labour Ministry figures issued to night. On April 23 there were approximate!} 10,140,000 insured persons aged front 16 to 64 employed in Great Britain which is 82,000 more than in the niontl before and 638,000 more than a ycai previously. Most of the principal industries showed further improvement. Uncm ployed persons on labour exchange re gisters numbered 1,729,242 wholly un employed, 329,913 temporarily stopped and 89,040 normally in casual employ ment, a total of 2,148,195.
