SOCIAL AND DANCE

The Alale Choir held another of its tri-wf?kly card and dance evenings on Wednesday night last, in the W.D.F.U. moms. There was fair attendance and an enjoyable time was spent. The winners of the “500” prizes were Airs. Vinten and Air. Richardson, consolations going to Airs. Stephens and Airs. Hunwick. After supper an enjoyable time was spent in old-time dancing interspersed with a song from Air. G. Williamson and a part-song by members of the choir. The Alonte Carlo was won by Aliss Tabart and Afr. Stoneman. Afrs. Al. Gardner provided the dance music. Among those present were:—Air. and Afrs. Higgins, Air. and Airs. J, Brass, Air. and Mrs. S.
