MAGISTRATE’S COURT. Judgment for plaintiff by default was given in the following cases at the Raetihi Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday by Mr. R. M. Watson, S.M.:—D. P. Scarfc v. E. Harrison, £6 14s 4d, costs £1 14s fid; W. J. Feltham v. W. Ormond, £l2 18s, costs £2 10s; Public Trustee v. W. E. Bromley, £1 14s, costs 18s; Fowler and Proude v. H. O. Pederson, £1 Bs, costs 8s; Onehunga Building Society v. H. O. Pederson, claim for rent £ll ss, costs £3 Is. an order was made for possession of house within four weeks. Judgment Summonses. E. G. Patterson was ordered to pay Burtenshaw and Davies the sum of £l2 14s 6d, in default 14 days, warrant to be suspended as long as £1 por month was paid; W. G. Wise was ordered to pay Harris, Lansey and Ritchie the sum of £S 6s 4d, in default 10 days, warrant to be suspended as long as £1 10s per month was paid. F3)turn of Chattels. Public Trustee and John Anderson v. H. W. B. Littlewood, claim for return of certain chattels or their value. Air. Ritchie, for plaintiff, explained that the terms of the previous adjournment had not been carried out. H. W. Littlewood gave evidence but before his cross-examination was completed the. magistrate adjourned the ease to enable the parties# to further confer. After conference Air. Ritchie said he would agree to a further adjournment on certain terms, which defendant had agreed to carry out. Separation and Maintenan j'. Haupouri Hira was granted a separation from her husband, who was ordered to contribute 10s a week for the. maintenance of the wife and 5s a week each for the two children.
