SPECIAL COMMISSION APPOINTMENT ANNOUNCED I Per Presa Association. 1 WELLINGTON, Dec. 21. The appointment by the GovernorGeneral of a special commission to investigate the promotion, financial methods and operation of certain companies in the Dominion, was announced by the Minister of Fiance, Ho. J. G. Coates, to-night. The members* of the commission are: Mr. J. S. Barton, S.M. (Wellington); Professor H. Belshaw (Auckland); and Mr. F. E. Graham (Christchurch). The commission is expected to take up its duties about the middle of January. % —?■
