INCREASED BY 760 LETTERS FRIENDLY ROAD BROADCASTS. 1 Per Press Association. J WELLINGTON, Dec. 5. An appeal to radio listeners at a mass meeting held in the Auckland Town Hall on Sunday night, to write to thc Premier on behalf of the Friendly oad Services, brought such a general response that Mr. Forbes had 760 letters on thc subject added to his usual correspondent to-day. The writers state that they belong to the Friendly Road Group, and are most anxious that arrangements be made for the continuance of these religious services that meant so much to them. Mr Forbes’ only comment on the subject to-day was that so far he had not had an opportunity to see the letters.
