WELLINGTON'S CENTENARY
EXHIBITION PLANNED I Per Press Association. ) WELLINGTON, Dec. 5. Tn connection with the Christchurch show project, it was pointed out at the annual meeting of the Wellington Show Association to-night that a move had already been made to have an exhibition at Wellington to mark the centenary of Wellington’s founding, and the proposal had been taken up by (ho City Council and local bodies. It was also pointed out that the last international exhibition at Dunedin had put on record that the next one should bc Wellington. It was stated that there was a law governing the right of cities to hold such exhibitions. No formal action was taken by the meeting.
