ACCUSED MAN’S DASH [ Per Press Association. 1 INVERCARGILL, Dec. ?. Arrested for alleged burglary at the Single Profit Stores at Otnutau, Eric Anthony Buhnan, aged 23, made a dash for liberty, but was recaptured after an exciting chase of over a mile this morning. On his way from the cells to the Court he made another dash, with the police in hot pursuit, in the course of which ho attempted to leap over Puni Creek, but fell in and was recaptured. Appearing in wot and muddy clothes, he was remanded for a week and taken to the colls handcuffed to a detccti \ o.
