MARTON BOXING TOURNEY. In our report of the boxing bout between T. Jackson (Marton) and Al. Warehame, it was incorrectly stated that the decision had been awarded in Wareham’s favour, whereas T. Jackson was declared the winner. HAWKESTONE GOLF CLUB. LADIES’ MATCH TO-DAY. Following is the draw for the ladies’ match on tho Hawkestone golf links this afternoon:—Aliss Hunter v. Mrs. Wilson, Airs. Winchcombe v. Airs. Ball, Airs. Fogelberg v. Airs. McChesney, Aliss Gronn v. Airs. Hempieman, Airs. Mogridge v. Airs. Mclndoc, Aliss Shcrriff v. Airs. Williams, Airs. Parkes v. Airs. McDonald, Aliss Staples v. scorer. Meii’s Hole Competition. Several interesting competitions are in progress at, Hawkestone and the following have won their games in the first round for tho hole competition: J. Hunter. Fogelberg, Foote, Farmer, Campbell. L. McDonald, P. Gronn, R. C. Ball, N. Slight, V. Little, L. Barry, and Cawood, with five more games to play. The President’s Cup. The President’s Cup competition is now assuming an interesting stage and up till Wednesday the followinging had been successful:—Air. and Aliss Gronn won from Miss Slight and N. Slight; Aliss Staples and Foothead won from Aliss Cummins and K. Coombe; Air. and Airs. R. Wilson won by default from Mr. and Airs. Leonard; Air. and Airs. Farmer won from Aliss Cameron and C. Campbell; Aliss Sherriff and A. Todd won from Afr. and Airs. Bush; Airs. McChesney and Foote won from Miss Hunter and J. Hunter; Mr. and Airs. C. C. AlcDonald won from Afr. and Airs. Fogelberg; Afr. and rMs. Tipling won from Aliss Hendra and L. Barry; Aliss Butler and V. Tattle won from Mr. and Mrs. Gordon; Afr. and Airs. Ball won from Afiss Baker and K. Fowler. There are seven more games to play and players are requested to make an effort to fihish by next Saturday.
