Early Taranaki History.
In a recent account of the historic Maori attack on the redoubt at Turu-turu-mokai, an inaccuracy occurred in the statement concerning the last survivor. The account should have credited the late Mr. Beamish, of Patea, as being the last survivor of the famous event.
