GOLF The results of tho first bogey competition among the ladies of the Waimarino Golf Club are as follows: A Division. —Mrs Windle, 7 down. B Division.—Mrs Bretherton 5 down, Mrs Lynch 6 down, Mrs McDowell 7 down. Tho .following is the draw for the ladies’ Canadian fourosmes, stroke play to bo played over tho week-end: Mrs Windle and Miss A. Anderson play Mrs Herbert and Miss Cooper. Mrs Ritchio and Mrs Dow play Mrs Jordan and Miss Thomas. Mrs Cracroft Wilson and -Miss Scarfe play Miss Legge and Miss Lethbridge. Mrs Marshall and Miss Leonard play Mesdames Robertshaw and Bretherton. Mesdames McDowell and Webb play Mrs Towlcr and Miss E. Anderson. Mrs Drury and Miss Ward play Mesdames Ciochctto and Lynvli, Mrs Felt ham and Miss D. Anderson ; find partners. FOOTBALL Hukuroa beat Raetihi seniors by 16 to 3. Hukaroa was the first to score. Carroll got the ball from a passing rush and scored and kicked a goal. From a penalty Moor failed to kick the ball over tho posts twice, Wilson was the next to get. over and ho scored tho second try for Hukaroa, but Simpson failed to convert. Parkes was tho first to get over for Raetihi. but Moor could not add the major points. In tho second spell Raetihi defence held for a whilo but from a passing rush Carroll worked his way over and converted his own try on ono occasion but was not successful on both. The whistle went with tho score Hukaroa 16; Raetihi 3. Mr Murphy acted as referee. Tn tho junior match Raetihi had a runaway victory from the Rovers, who fielded two men short. Rovers were unable to score while Raetihi put up a total of 41.
