ABOLITION RESOLUTION GOVERNMENT NOT BOUND Received May 18, 5.5 p.m. OTTAWA, Afay 17. Titles arc restored to Canada with Iho announcement in the House of Commons of Air. Bennett that the Government is not bound by tho 1919 Parliamentary :esolution of abolition, j hn occasion arose out of questions regal ding the award of K.C.AJ.G. to Sir George Perley. Air. Lapointe declares that tho Government is bound and titles are illegal. Mr. F. W. Nickle, sponsor of the abolition resolution, states that there is no question tire Government is bound. He is confident Parliament will vote the same way again.
